As a business consultant, I have previously established and grown multiple businesses in the product, services and events industries and become a two-time Amazon Best-Selling Author, whilst rasing neurodivergent children and juggling care for my disabled husband. I am on a mission to show passionate people how to start up, grow and scale a business to make money, even when life is unpredictable!
There are four elements you need to pull it off;

- and the expansive sales skills.
This is my bag! I love talking business, in fact, I am OBSESSED with business planning and strategy for growth. I am dedicated to teaching passionate people who have a great service to give how to do business properly, do what you love, make money from it and make an impact and support you on the journey of growth.
So, What is it this Business Event?
Growth Activation is a live quarterly day workshop with a talk, networking, co-Working and real-time business support.
We are live in Leeds, with plans to possibly expand.
The event begins with an inspirational talk on a mindset, energetic, strategy or sales topic for focused business growth by Dani Louise Smith, designed to educate you and fire up the momentum to take the actions you have been procrastinating on.
After the talk, we make new connections with a networking session in a relaxed format designed to focus on building relationships, not just gathering contact details.
There is then a catered lunch and opportunity to refresh and break to process your morning and then we return into a co-working format to take action on any ideas and support you with anything you need in order to 'Build, Optimise, Sell and Scale' your business for growth.
Come back event after event to stay on track, access this empowering energy, meet new people and knock your business out the park. (Northern slang for success!)
Meet your host
Dani Louise Smith is a speaker, podcaster, two times Amazon Best-Selling Author and Business Consultant teaching service-based business owners how to produce income doing what they love, even when life is unpredictable due to additional responsibilities, how to create a proper business strategy, discover your aligned marketing methods and action sales activities to develop a successful, profitable business that has a positive impact on the world with the work that you do.
As the founder of Social Success Circle, a DLS sub-brand Dani is passionate about inclusion and accessibility to break down barriers to business growth.
Dani has spoken for ClimbUK, Mums in Business International, featured in New York Weekly and Make Your Day Richer TV.
Having overcome depression, debt and being told she 'doesn't have to work' due to needing to care for the needs of her husband and children, Dani stepped into her purpose to create something more when employment doesn't suit an unpredictable lifestyle and became a qualified life coach, studied level two business enterprise and put strategy into practice with multiple businesses.
Dani's business development book, Business Fundamentals, was self-published in 2024 and became an Amazon Best-Seller in the business self-employment category, followed by Beyond The Ordinary a month later becoming a 'hot new release' and Amazon Best-Selling book.
Dani is also multi-creative, a book worm and leads an active lifestyle dancing, swimming & gym-going and was born and lives in Leeds with her three children, husband and dog.

Where exactly is the event held in Leeds?
The event is held in Leeds, at The Queens Hotel. Full venue details, postcode and directions will be sent to you after booking so you can plan your journey with ease. Paid parking is nearby and the venue is right next to the train station.
What time does the event start and finish?
Doors open at 9.45am for a relaxed welcome and refreshments at 10am. We begin promptly at 10.30am, once everyone is in, settled and relaxed. We finish at 5pm.
Is lunch included and are dietary requirements catered for?
Yes. Lunch and refreshments are included because you need the energy to stay focused and actually do the work. Dietary requirements will be catered for.
Do I need to bring anything?
Bring a laptop if you have one, a notebook if you prefer, and anything you need to work on your business. This is an action-based day, not just listening.
Is there parking or public transport nearby?
Yes. The venue is accessible by both car and public transport. Full details will be shared after booking.
Can I get a refund if I can’t attend?
Tickets are non-refundable 14 days after purchase, but you can transfer your space to someone else if needed.
What kind of people will be in the room?
Purpose-driven business owners who are ready to grow, take action and move forward. My focus is to foster an inclusive and accessible space. However you identify, whatever your background, ethnicity or ability, you are welcome.
