Sessions are the fourth Friday of every month at 1pm (excluding holidays)
A free monthly space for business owners navigating disability, chronic illness or caring responsibilities to connect, get unstuck and make progress.
Meet people you haven't met before. Talk about the business challenge that's been niggling at you. Get ideas, support and perspective from people who understand that running a business doesn't always happen on a neat, predictable schedule.
Then choose one thing you're going to do next.
No pressure to have it all figured out. Just good people, useful conversations and practical progress.
It's a supportive space to meet business owners who understand that running a business doesn't always happen with predictable time, energy or capacity and to get practical help with something that's currently getting in your way.
🤝 Meet new business owners
You'll have three rounds of speed networking, giving you proper conversations with people you haven't met before.
Find out what they do, discover where you have things in common, and connect on social media afterwards if you'd like to keep the conversation going.
💡 Get help with a real business challenge
You'll join a small mastermind group and take a turn in the hot seat.
You have 15 minutes to share one thing you're currently stuck on, whether that's marketing, sales, time management, visibility, or something else that's been niggling at you.
The people in your group will share their ideas, experience and perspective, and I'll be moving between the rooms to support too.
🎯 Leave with a clear next action
This isn't about trying to fix your entire business in one session.
It's about getting enough clarity and support to know what you need to do next.
You'll leave with one practical action you can take forward.
1. Speed networking
Three short breakout conversations.
Three opportunities to meet someone new.
No awkward wandering around a virtual room wondering who to talk to.
2. Mastermind groups
You'll be placed into a small group of three.
Everyone gets their own turn in the hot seat.
3. Your 15 minutes
Share the business challenge you'd like help with.
Ask your questions.
Get ideas and perspectives from the group and my input where it's useful.
4. Rotate
Then it's someone else's turn.
We'll do three rounds so everyone gets their 15 minutes.
5. Come back together
We'll share a win, useful takeaway or moment of progress before reflecting on what you've got from the session.
6. Decide your next step
You'll identify the one practical action you're going to take after the session.
Then I'll tell you about the next Connected Business Room so you can keep the connections going.
This is for you if you're a business owner who is:
You don't need to have everything figured out.
You don't need a polished business.
And you definitely don't need to turn up with a perfect question.
Just bring your business, one thing you'd like some help with, and an openness to meeting new people.
By the end of the session, you'll have:
New connections
People you can follow, get to know and potentially collaborate with beyond the session.
Fresh perspective
Ideas and support from other business owners who can see your challenge from a different angle.
A clear next action
One practical thing you know you can do next.
And hopefully, the feeling that you don't have to figure it all out on your own.
Sometimes you just need the right people around you, a chance to talk things through, and a bit of clarity about what comes next.
That's what The Connected Business Room is here for.
Come and join us.
